These two peas in a pod are best buds! They get along famously -- Tyson and his family ended up in a kill shelter after they were removed from their owners because of lack of care. Tyson and his wife Kety had a family of girls -- this is what happens when no one spays or neuters. Tyson is a family man, and we are sure he misses them all very much. He greets the 3 other dogs that he now is fostered with lots of kisses, including Tucker. Tyson is a German Shepherd-Collie mix, about 8-9 years old, neutered, UTD with all vaccines, HW negative and on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. He is pretty much the perfect dog -- walks gently at your side, has great leash skills. He is completely housebroken, quiet, and does not touch anything inside the house. He weighs about 75 lbs. but is a little underweight from all of the stress he has gone through.
Tucker is a gem as well! This little guy is also perfect (he looks bigger than he actually is)! He is housebroken, very well-mannered in the home, does not bark, does not need to be crated. He is learning from Tyson how to walk obediently at your side and walks well next to Tyson. Just like Tyson, Tucker is a lab-cattle dog mix, about 8-9 years old, neutered, UTD with all vaccines, HW negative and on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. These two really get along very well and we would love to find them a home together, especially for Tyson, who really needs to be with other dogs.

Here are some photos of Tyson's family that he misses so much!! It looks like he and Kety are the older ones and the girls are most likely offspring. All of the females were taken by other rescues; Tyson was left at the shelter so we took him.
